Bioshock 2 is a first-person shooter video game in which the player will play the role of the Subject Delta. In Bioshock 2 the player will explore Rapture and fights off splicers using the combination of environments, weapons, plasmids, and tonics. Plasmids and tonics are special genetic liquids that will provide you with active and passive abilities. For example, plasmids will provide you with the ability to invoke fire and tonics will improve your speed and movements, attack damage and damage resistance. Several weapons in the Bioshock 2 were carried by Big Daddies in the previous game including drills and rivet gun. Unlike the previous games, you can also use weapons in the close-range melee combat.
In Bioshock 2, you can also equip weapons and plasmids at the same time where they can be used in quick succession to destroy enemies.
